This award-winning program has been offering eye care for more than 30 years to eligible older Americans, and helped more than 1.8 million people. EyeCare America, the public service program of the Foundation of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, provides eye care at no out -of-pocket cost to those who qualify. Referrals are provided to U.S. citizens or legal residents who are without an ophthalmologist.
